Chocolate & Cashew Keto Fat Bombs

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a dyed-in-the-wool chocoholic. Unfortunately, this obsession is not healthy for my waistline. What to do? As, I am currently following the Keto way of eating, I looked up some recipes that could satisfy my chocolate cravings. One such Keto-friendly dessert is the fat bomb – a creamy confection made with cocoa powder and other keto-approved fats. This is my version.

  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 6 tbsp coconut oil can substitute with cocoa butter
  • 1/4 cup Lily's Sweet Premium Baking Chips
  • 3 tbsp cashews or any other nut of choice optional
  • 1/2 tsp liquid stevia add to taste
  • 8 paper cup liners


  1. At room temperature, mix almond butter and coconut oil until combined. Mix in cocoa powder and liquid stevia. Finally stir in chocolate chips and cashews (or nuts of choice.) 

  2. Spoon mixture into paper cupcake liners and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour to firm up. These will melt quickly so store in fridge until ready to eat.

These chocolate fat bombs are sweet, creamy, crunchy and delicious! Best of all it’s sugar free and full of healthy fats and antioxidants. To make this even more chocolatey you can substitute the coconut oil with edible cocoa butter. Enjoy!
